Farrowing - Guinea Hog mothers don't need any help when it's time to farrow. One of our sows (Natasha) farrowed during the night, no muss, no fuss...We'd settled in for a long winter's nap, and woke up the next morning to find little black piglets, clean and cuddly, waiting for us in the barn. There they were, all nine of them! Healthly and vigorous, each one nursing like a champ and Natasha doing what she does best! She's a great mother, with plentiful milk she's able to nurse a large litter all at once.
